Die Geschwister Max und Laura Braun kreieren filigranen, langsamen Indie-Folk-Rock. Laura ist außer Sängerin auch bildende Künstlerin, Designerin und Fotografin und Max ist nicht nur Gitarrist, sondern komponiert auch Film- und Theatermusik und Sounddesign für audiovisuelle Medien. Die Brauns lassen aus Ideensammlungen feine, vielschichtige Songs entstehen, die etwas mehr zum Indie-Rock als zum Pop tendieren und folk-jazzige Passagen haben. In der Instrumentierung finden sich zusätzlich zu Gitarre, Schlagzeug, Kontrabass noch Piano, Synthesizer, Pedal Steel und Banjo. Alles sehr laid-back und poetisch-sanft in trägen Soundströmungen mit manchmal minimalistisch-kargen Einbauten.

Verträumt und verspielt-leicht wie die Worte »…Flows like a river / Quivers and shivers / Flows and it flickers on // Reminds me of something / Of all things and nothing / Reminds me of something I cannot recall…« (›Summer Song‹). Musikalische und textliche Traum-, Visions- und Reflektionsverflechtungen und vertrackte Interrelationen im Indie-Rock aus dem Süden Deutschlands auf internationalem Level mit den Alben „Telltale“ (2012) und ›Highwire Haywire‹ (2016).
