Dass Wolfgang Sandners ›Keith Jarrett. Eine Biographie‹ dieses Schicksal nicht teilt, liegt vor allem am Universalkünstler Jarrett selbst. Jedem Kenner ist klar, dass Sandners Biographie ein Resümee eines Schaffenszeitraums sein muss, dem gewiss ein weiterer folgen wird. Für Liebhaber und Neuzugänge wird das Werk eines Künstlers ausgebreitet, der wie kein anderer den Jazz der letzten Jahrzehnte geprägt hat. VIOLA STOCKER ist zutiefst beeindruckt.
