Aus diesem Anlass hier meine Erinnerung an eine seiner Shows der vergangenen Jahre beim Jazzfestival Saalfelden 2009: Blau überspannt den sommerwarmen Bergort. Im Congresshaus, das schickes Festivalzentrum darstellt, verbringe ich Zeit fast wie chillend, relaxt in musikalische Sets mit zumeist eher Feinnervigem hineinhörend. Musik | Katarakt – Festival für experimentelle Musik, 15.-18. Januar Einen Eindruck vom ersten Tag des Festivals? Der Besuch ist ein Gewinn; man muss auf Kontraste vorbereitet sein.
